As a member of the creative team, the 3D Artist Blender will play a pivotal role in bringing to life the visions that bridge the realms of art and technology, contributing to projects that resonate with our aesthetic and universe. This position will support our marketing team with the development of technical and 3D graphics as well as support the product team to create this material for our customers.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong desire and passion for creativity and innovation with demonstrated experience in 3D modeling and working with multiple modeling software applications; someone looking to create new boundaries as a 3D artist; someone who can work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, with excellent communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute 3D models, animations, textures, and scenes in Blender, covering a wide range of styles and complexities.
• Work closely with artists, and designers to conceptualize and visualize innovative ideas and projects, ensuring they align with TheIncLab’s creative direction.
• Work closely with both marketing and technical staff to create photorealistic 3D models/renderings and typical sections to be used in proposals, presentations, and public meetings.
• Take existing 2D models and apply photorealistic textures and lighting to create 3D concepts.
• Employ advanced Blender techniques for simulations, shading, and rendering to create compelling and visually stunning art pieces and installations.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, offering expertise in 3D art to enhance the integration of digital and physical mediums.
• Translate complex technical information to high quality illustrations and infographics that are easy to understand.
• Participate in the entire creative process, from initial sketches and models to final renderings and installations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Capabilities that will enable your success

• A bachelor's degree in Animation, 3D Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D artist or similar role.
• Experience working with 3D modeling software (i.e. Blender, Lumen RT, Lumion, InfraWorks, BeyondTypicals, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Profound knowledge and proficiency in Blender, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of 3D art skills including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering.
• Technical modeling knowledge such as UV unwrapping, optimization, clean topology.
• Heavily experienced in 3D modeling, PBR Texturing, Lighting, Animation, Rendering.
• Expert in organic modeling using sculpting and deformation tools.
• Experience in dynamic simulations (fluid, cloth, particles) within Blender.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team on deadline-driven activities and effectively prioritize assignments, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• A strong artistic sense, with the ability to adapt and create various artistic styles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work efforts.
