Job Description

Established Restaurant/Catering Company is looking for an energetic and organized self-starter, with strong communication skills, organization and accuracy for a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Office Manager position. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a successful family-owned business. You will work independently as well as directly with our management team and be responsible for detailed bookkeeping and financial tracking, managing office related operations, and managing human resources tasks as needed. This position requires flexibility and ability to undertake additional tasks as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is motivated to grow and takes pride in their work.

Job duties:

· Managing Account Payable and Account Receivable using Quickbooks (minimum 3 years experience required)

· Weekly Payroll using Paychex

· Recording transactions in Quickbooks Desktop

· Bank and credit card reconciliations

· Prepare checks, payment and bank deposits

· Verifying pricing on all purchases

· Managing AR collections

· Invoicing restaurant and catering customers

· Balance Daily Register receipts

· Foster favorable Employee, Customer, and Vendor Relations

· Maintain and organize all files including archiving previous years in a clearly identified, easily retrievable manner.

· Managing day to day running of the office

· Answering phone calls and responding to emails

· Ordering and managing all office supplies

· HR responsibilities such as posting ads, interviewing, background checks, onboarding, managing employee files, employee benefits, days off requests, organizing company parties, birthday celebrations etc.


  • 1-3 years professional experience in bookkeeping/accounting using Quickbook Desktop version
  • Must have previous experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and Can-Do Attitude
  • Responsible, trustworthy, dependable and organized work habits
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, and as part of the team
  • Must be proficient in Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2018, Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, Paychex is a plus
