Job Overview: We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) hands-on, reliable, experienced Supervisor for our Hood Cleaning and Janitorial Services team. The successful candidate will oversee cleaning operations, ensure compliance with NFPA-96 and other industry standards, and manage a team of cleaners and technicians. This role requires flexible availability, especially during overnight shifts and weekends. Occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining health and fire safety standards in commercial kitchens and various other facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a growing team of hood cleaning and janitorial staff
• Coordinate daily cleaning schedules and tasks, ensuring all services meet customer standards
• Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Train, mentor, and provide feedback to team members to improve efficiency and performance
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order
• Respond to clients to ensure their needs are met and to address any concerns or special requests
• Communicate promptly and regularly with upper management to coordinate and resolve problems.
• Use a variety of job service apps, such as Service Channel, Corrigo and Home Base
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and job site safety
• Prepare reports and document completed tasks, issues, and resolutions

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in hood cleaning, janitorial, or a related field, with supervisory experience a must
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train and support team members
• Knowledge of NFPA-96 regulations and work site safety standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients and upper management
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

• Clean driving record and valid driver license is required
• Able to climb ladders
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to pass a background check
