We are seeking an energetic and visionary Chemical Waste Plant Manager to lead our team, maximize revenue, and ensure top-notch customer service. This role comes with full P&L responsibility, overseeing both plant operations and administrative functions while maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
What You'll Do:
* Lead with Impact: Drive safety, compliance, and profitability across the entire business unit.
* Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Sales, Services, and Customer Solutions teams to boost volume growth and optimize pricing strategies.
* Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and maintain competitive awareness, responding swiftly to changes.
* Optimize Productivity: Ensure staffing levels and employee schedules maximize productivity and capacity.
* Train and Empower: Oversee employee training and development to meet high operational and safety standards.
* Ensure Compliance: Manage treatment processes, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Streamline Operations: Oversee administrative functions, ensuring efficient billing, exceptional customer service, and accurate financial reporting.
What We're Looking For:
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
* Experience: At least three years in wastewater management or a related field with proven team leadership and budget management experience.
* Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential; familiarity with Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus.
Work Environment:
* Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, with occasional exposure to strong odors.
* Expect a mix of office and field environments, involving light physical activities like lifting and bending.
