DevOps Lead

Overview:

• Client is on a journey to mature DevOps practices, and this role is key to driving that change. This individual will be setting the foundation for modern CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure best practices.
• Role combines strategic vision with hands-on work. Will work closely with senior leadership, product teams, and engineering teams to integrate new tools, strengthen infrastructure, and optimize processes.

• Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for leading and implementing DevOps practices in a .NET-focused environment, with some Java.
• Executes DevOps roadmap, automates CI/CD processes, and manages infrastructure at the enterprise level.
• Acts as a bridge between technical teams and senior leadership, providing clear communication and guidance on DevOps initiatives.
• Hands-on role that also involves supporting and guiding offshore junior/mid-level team members.

Required :

• 8-10 years of enterprise-level DevOps experience with a focus on process optimization, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Bitbucket, Azure Pipelines for CI/CD management.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and incident management tools (Datadog, LogicMonitor, PagerDuty preferred)
• Strong business acumen and communication skills to articulate DevOps strategies and technical concepts to senior leadership and business teams.

Preferred :

• Familiarity with SnapLogic for API management and integration.
• Knowledge of FreshService (or other ITSM tools like ServiceNow) to support IT workflows.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus but not required.

Multi-platform experience in .NET and Java environments
