Job Title: EDI Architect

Duration: 6-12 months (Contract)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Architect with extensive experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, integration design, and architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of EDI solutions to streamline and optimize the data exchange processes between our business and trading partners. This role will require hands-on experience in EDI mapping, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as strong expertise in EDI standards, protocols, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement EDI architecture to facilitate seamless data exchange with trading partners.
• Lead the EDI integration strategy, including architecture, design patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess EDI requirements, define specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the configuration, mapping, and testing of EDI transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with established standards.
• Ensure EDI security measures, including encryption protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Troubleshoot EDI-related issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to optimize performance.
• Develop documentation, guidelines, and best practices for EDI integration and maintenance.
• Mentor junior developers and support teams in EDI best practices and architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in EDI architecture, including designing and implementing EDI solutions.
• Proficiency in EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP,
• Strong knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., IBM Sterling Integrator, SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, or similar).
• Experience with EDI mapping tools and data translation.
• Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and data transformation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
