Job Description
We have a client hiring a Finance/FP&A Manager OR Director.
Responsibilities:- Pull together weekly financial analytics and dashboards for operations to review during weekly financial meetings with operations.
- Develop financial models and create ad-hoc financial analysis designed to improve the financial and operating performance of the business, identify risk, and identify trends.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget.
- Measure and maintain metrics for menu and labor performance.
- Monitor and control costs, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure profitability without reducing or compromising service quality.
- Collaborates with operations and other functions to gather input and feedback concerning system needs.
- Maintains or assists with maintenance of information systems.
- Prepares or oversees preparation of specifications and technical documentation such as user manuals for new or revised systems.
- Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with M&A deals including but not limited to preparing valuation models and lead due diligence process.
- Support leadership team in preparing presentations for advisory board and investor meetings.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, with progressing responsibility in moderate to highly complex functions.
- Experience in restaurant finance.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Expert knowledge of restaurant operations systems.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Solutions oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Creative thinking with a focus on innovative solutions.
