Functions as legal advisor to senior corporate officers and leadership, as well as sharing responsibility for achievement of organization"s goals and objectives. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring that legal services are provided to company in a competent and cost-effective manner including legal services budget preparation and adherence; maintenance and selection of external legal counsel as appropriate; and development of bid and service expectations for legal services. Responsible for legal oversight of the organization"s contracting, including vendor, physician, and employee contracting.
