Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role is crucial in assisting with daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.   

  • Industry: Import/Export 

  • Working Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite) 

  • Working hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm 

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Part-time negotiable) 

  • Pay: $22/hr - $25/hr DOE 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide general support to visitors. 

  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails. 

  • Maintain a tidy and organized office environment. 

  • Assist management in organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings. 

  • Prepare and distribute communications, memos, emails, and forms. 

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports to US management and Japan HQ. 

  • Develop and maintain a filing system, both physical and digital. 

  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers. 

Requirement and Skills 

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role. 

  • Must be bilingual in English and Japanese (writing, reading, speaking) 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular). 

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. 

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
