Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead acceptance test (environmental, functional, and performance) campaigns for Kuiper phased-array antenna systems.
- Support qualification test (environmental, functional, and performance) campaigns for early Kuiper phased-array antenna system designs
- Plan, develop, document and execute assembly and test operations to validate phased array antenna systems for flight to meet Kuiper production build rates.
- Bring-up, test and troubleshoot complex antenna PCBA’s at the board level.
- Analyze test failures to ensure defects are fully understood and provide design recommendations for the product to increase performance, reliability, and yield.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and RF performance problems on the fly, working with an integrated cross-functional team of electrical, antenna, mechanical, software and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Specify, procure and set up antenna test cell layouts for the production floor.
- Write technical specifications for antenna assembly and test from scratch.
