This 9-month, part-time position within the Bellarmine University Division of Student Affairs will be responsible for general administrative and clinical assistance in the university Counseling Center. 

Specific job responsibilities are as follows: 

• Take incoming calls 
• Assist with scheduling and appointment reminders 
• Greet clients and administer forms 
• Scan and fax documents and medical records 
• Provide assistance with case management (e.g. coordinate care with agencies, departments and providers, follow-up with clients, maintain community resource data base) 
• Assist with outreach programming and promotion of services 
• Order supplies/materials and communicate with vendors 
• Collect and track data 
• Submit work orders 
• Other administrative duties as assigned 

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Familiarity with ethical and legal requirements pertaining to confidential medical records 
• Basis computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)  
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work effectively in team environment

Preferred Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree 
• Professional experience in higher education or college-age population 
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems 
• Experience working with and serving diverse population
