Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound and/or dispense medications to patients providing drug information and education to optimize care quality.
  
• Accurately perform medication order entry ensuring the completeness of the patient s medication profile.
  
• Provide timely and accurate drug and toxicological information to customers to enhance knowledge and minimize risk.
  
• Calculate caloric and/or electrolyte ingredients for TPN ensuring correct nutritional therapy administration.
  
• Monitor patient drug therapy screening for potential issues such as drug interactions incompatibilities and allergies ensuring patient safety.
  
• Apply pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles to individualize drug dosing.
  

Hours and Compensation:

• Fulltime position with a mix of day and evening shifts.
  
• Shifts are 8 hours long with start times at 5 AM 7:30 AM 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM.
  
• Approximately 80% of shifts are during the day and 20% are in the evenings. Weekend shifts are rotated typically every 4th weekend.
  
• Salary range: $54 $75 per hour based on experience.
  
• Evening night and weekend shifts include a $2.75 per hour differential.
  
• Full benefits package and a signon bonus.
  

What We re Looking For:

• PharmD required.
  
• Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
  
• Hospital experience preferred but candidates with a retail background will be considered.
