Remote Program Manager

About the Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Remote Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll take charge of planning, supporting, and executing high-profile events within our Global Industry & GBU Events portfolio. These events are some of the most complex and significant for our organization, and you'll play a key role in ensuring their success.

As the Program Manager, you'll lead multiple events simultaneously and work closely with internal teams such as Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Product Development, and Sales. Your focus will be on not just managing the logistics but also on embracing innovative practices to create meaningful customer engagement. Your experience in delivering successful events and your understanding of the necessary systems and processes will be essential to your success.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including sponsorship and contract negotiation, budget management, booth design and production, and coordination of event activities.
Collaborate with a global team and external vendors to support and execute high-profile programs across various regions.
Demonstrate expertise in project management to deliver exceptional customer event experiences from start to finish.
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the Marketing team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of event-related activities.
Ensure events are executed on budget and on schedule.
Manage documentation (contracts, POs, invoices) and system updates (calendars, project management tools) in accordance with policies and regulations.
Communicate project status and updates clearly and professionally, addressing any adjustments or concerns related to timing, budgets, and event details.
Utilize various systems and applications (e.g., Zoom, Excel, Word) to support event production, communications, and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in event management, with a background in marketing and communications within the IT industry being a plus.
Proven track record of successful project leadership and experience working with virtual teams across different time zones.
Strategic thinker with attention to both big-picture goals and immediate tactical details.
Strong understanding of physical event planning, negotiation, and execution, particularly with third-party conferences.
High level of creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work confidently at all organizational levels.
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a results-oriented focus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a history of building collaborative, results-driven relationships.
Respect for diverse perspectives and cultures, with a commitment to integrity and fairness.
Experience working in a virtual team environment and adapting to fast-paced, evolving conditions.
Proficiency in various applications (Zoom, Excel, Word, Outlook) and a quick learner of new tools and processes.

This position is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States or Canada and will involve some domestic and international travel (approximately 10-15% of the time).
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 37.00 40.00 Per Hour
