Responsibilities:

• Function as part of for the Floor Leadership Team.
• Follow and enforce standard work for the project management process.
• Communicate the status of projects with the customer and the Engineering Manager.
• Communicate the requirements of the project with the shop floor and Quality Manager.
• Creates new and modifies existing production routings defining each operation required to move a component, sub assembly, or assembly through the manufacturing process from issuance of raw material through production assembly and test.
• Creates new and modifies existing manufacturing work instructions and procedures defining the manufacturing steps.
• Assumes complete process ownership of assigned manufacturing or assembly area and provides appropriate level of floor support, interfacing with other functional groups as required, to review and resolve processing issues.
• Researches, specifies or designs tooling and fixtures to aid in manufacturing and inspection
• Supports Supply Chain with supplier inspection, accreditation and election
• Performs industrial engineering tasks, as required, such as time studies and work center/cell development and layout to improve product work flow and decrease lead time/cost.
• Supports and provides assistance for various special projects.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous Project Manager experience
• Experience with Lean or Kaizen
• Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to stand for an extended time
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions
• Outstanding communication, organization, time-management, and collaboration skills
• Reliable
• Team-oriented
• Customer-focused
