Darien Security Services is looking for a security officer to join our strong team for a position in New Bedford, MA. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

Summary:

The Security Guard is the main figure of Darien Security mostly because of his/her proximity to the customers. Not only does the role requires a strong commitment in term of delivering the very service a customer is looking for, but also it expands Darien Security’s image while making sure we deliver past the customer's expectation. Agent must be capable to perform a wide variety of duties to ensure the safety and security of premises and also must adhere to safety and emergency protocols of Darien Security.

Job Description:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment control.
• Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any other related task.

Qualifications

· Must have a High School Diploma

· Must be 21 years of age or older.
