Position Summary

About the Role

The Sales Engineer is a technical specialist and expert responsible for engaging ATTOM’s Data clients through product recommendations, data utilization, and comprehensive customer lifecycle support. It partners closely with Sales and Account Managers for understanding a client’s use case and data environment, then expertly designing, communicating and executing on solutions that fully realizes the client’s requirements and vision. The Sales Engineer is inherently curious and stays up to date with the market, competitive landscape, and technical innovations in the data space.  

What you will do

  • Responsible for driving and closing opportunities for ATTOM Data’s product portfolio by partnering with Sales and Account Managers in designing, positioning, and providing technology and client specific solutions  
  • Leads discovery to understand, document, and develop personalized solutions that cater to a client’s technical and business requirements.  
  • Streamline and deliver repeatable onboarding process that lead to successful data ingestion and value delivery.   
  • Technical and industry expert – remove technical objections and create confidence in Attom Data’s functionality and technology infrastructure.  
  • Technical Competency and Sales Support: Deliver expert technical partnership during customer meetings to ensure clients fully understand the value and capabilities of ATTOM Data's offerings.  
  • Solution Development: Develop comprehensive technical solutions that align with client needs. Identify and execute on areas of process optimization to improve the customer experience. Drive repeatability and sustainability of delivering quick customer value.  
  • Technical Training and Expertise: Stay up to date, relevant, and a forward thinker on the technical evolution of the market.  Develop assets and deliver training for both internal and external stakeholders.   
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Data Technology, and other teams to ensure cohesive efforts in meeting client requirements and achieving organizational goals. 

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years’ Experience in a data analyst, sales, customer support or related role  

  • Familiarity with Data Engineering tools and techniques, such as SQL and Python required. 

  • Experience and understanding of APIs and key aspects of it including REST, JSON, XML preferred 

  • Familiarity with other big data and cloud data platforms (e.g Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, BigQuery, AWS Aurora, NoSQL, Spark, etc.) preferred 

  • Familiarity with data science and machine learning workflows, including data cleansing, feature engineering, training/testing, etc preferred.  
  • Experience real estate public records preferred.
