Role Importance and Responsibilities:

As the energy sector in Illinois continues to evolve, there's an increasing need for proactive solar solutions, which now encompass the integration of backup batteries for optimized home power. In your role as a Solar Consultant at Aveyo, you'll be instrumental in enlightening homeowners about these innovative solutions. Your duties entail generating leads, coordinating appointments, and delivering thorough insights into the benefits of solar energy during consultations. By working closely with our sales team, you'll guarantee a smooth customer journey while actively advancing our mission of fostering renewable energy uptake.

Who is the ideal candidate for this role?

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Conduct door-to-door interactions to initiate sales consultations (CANVASSING)

  • Engage in sales consultations with homeowners, providing comprehensive education on the advantages of solar energy and home backup batteries

  • Actively participate in scheduled team meetings

  • Create and implement a customer service and follow-up strategy aimed at surpassing client expectations

  • Achieve and surpass performance targets on a monthly and quarterly basis

What are the requirements for this role?

  • A preference for an active HIS (Home Improvement Salesman) license, although it's not a strict requirement.

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales or customer service, showcasing a proven ability to engage effectively with clients and deliver exceptional service.

  • Full-time availability with flexible scheduling options, allowing for up to 40 hours of work per week, providing candidates with the flexibility to balance work commitments with personal obligations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the added advantage of bilingual proficiency for enhanced client engagement and rapport-building.

  • Completion of relevant sales and technician training programs, ensuring a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise in the field.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, demonstrating consistency in performance while adapting to changing priorities.

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, enabling candidates to fulfill job responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Compensation details will be further discussed during the interview process, taking into account the candidate's qualifications, experience, and alignment with the role's requirements.

Expected earnings: $90,000-$110,000+/Year
