We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a premier Skilled Nursing Facility in Grand Island, NY. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates to make a significant impact on residents' lives through comprehensive speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities• Conduct in-depth evaluations and develop personalized therapy plans
• Perform audiometric screenings and make referrals for further audiology services
• Implement speech-language therapy plans in accordance with physician orders
• Maintain detailed documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care
• Participate in Resident Care Planning and Family/Resident Care Plan Review meetings
• Contribute to in-service training programs for facility personnel
• Manage program costs within budget parameters
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and service excellence standards
• M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• New York State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Clinical Competence Certification from ASHA (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Direct hire position with competitive compensation ($61,000 - $91,000 based on experience)
