Job Summary: Ensure the cleanliness functionality and inventory of medical instruments and equipment used in healthcare facilities. Sterilize and prepare instruments for surgical procedures and maintain strict adherence to sterilization standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean disinfect and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
2. Assemble instrument trays for surgical procedures.
3. Inspect instruments for damage and functionality.
4. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment readiness.
6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling infectious materials.
7. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies.

Requirements:

• Certification or training in sterile processing preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a healthcare or sterile processing environment.
• Familiarity with infection control practices and regulations.
